Number of players: 6-7 people per group
Setting: Outside
Equipment: 6-7 potatoes (balls/props) to toss
How to play: The class will be divided into groups of 6, potentially one group of 5 or 7. Each group will be given a "potato". The group will develop a pattern to throw the potato to ensure that each player is involved. Once the music begins, the group members will begin tossing the potato in their specific pattern for that round. The first round will be a surprise practice round and the people who were eliminated can come back to redeem themselves. Once the music stops at any given time, the last person to touch the potato will be eliminated from the game. After the first person gets out, round one will be over, and the remaining players can make a new throwing pattern. After each round the players can choose a new pattern. For each round different variations will be administered such as throwing the ball higher, saying the person's name, taking a couple steps forward or backward, etc. The game will continue until there is only one person left from each group, these people have won the game and will be rewarded for their great playing!
Rules:
The players cannot pass the potato to the person next to them
Each group member must receive the potato once per pattern
If the ball is in the air when the music stops, the person that touched it last will be eliminated, meaning that if the person did not catch the potato before the music ends, the person who threw the potato will be out
If the person does not catch the potato, but touched the potato, and the music stops, they will be eliminated, however, if they do not catch the potato because it was a poor throw, the person who threw the potato will be eliminated
