Red Light, Green Light

Number of Players: 2-30+

 Setting: outside

 Equipment: comfortable footwear

 How to play: All players competing in the activity will line up at the starting line while the leader is standing at the finish line announcing the colors red and green. Based on the color announced the players will decide whether they are allowed to proceed to the finish line or stay still. First to finish the race while following the rules is the winner.

 Rules:

Players will line up shoulder to shoulder at the starting line

The leader will stand at the finish line while announcing the colors red and green.

The colors will represent the colors of a traffic light, red=stop, green=go

The players will act as cars on the road, following the rules based on the colors announced.

If a player moves when the color red is announced they will have to go back to the starting line and start over.

The leader is allowed to call the same color twice in a row to test how carefully the players are listening. EX: if the color red was called and everyone is frozen, the leader can call red again to see in anyone moves.

The first person to get past the finish line is the winner and they get to be the new announcer.
