Seven-Up

Number of Players: Large groups of  more than 20 people.

Setting: Inside

Equipment: Desks in the classroom.

How to Play: Seven people are chosen to be “it” at the beginning of the game and they stand in the front of the classroom. The rest of the class closes their eyes and puts their heads down on their desks, while making a fist with one hand while putting one thumb up. The students who are standing in the front can now walk around the classroom and pick one student each, by touching the person’s thumb. The person who was touched then puts his or her thumb down, so that he or she isn’t picked twice. Once all the seven new people are chosen, the standing students return to the front of the class and call out with the leader of the game “Heads up, Seven up!”. All students open their eyes and raise their heads. The seven students whose thumbs had been touched stand up and take turns trying to guess who their toucher was. Whoever guesses correctly, replaces the toucher at the front of the room. If a toucher managed to not get picked by the student he touched, the toucher stayed in the game for another round.

 Rules:

Maintain your eyes really closed while the standing students are walking around the room, NO PEEKING!!!

No talking while your eyes are closed and your head is down.

If your thumb is touched, stand up when called and try your best to guess who touched you.

Have fun!
