It's time for the Rockin' Shamrock 5k, 10k, 15k, or Half Marathon! This is a fun run that is clock timed (not chip timed). This is an open course. Please be courteous to other pedestrians, runners, and cyclists on the beach path. * Want to run for free? Have a friend or family member volunteer while you run (minimum 2 hrs.) so you can run for free. Please email us at abetterworldrunning@yaho… for info. * Race day registration available -- 5k $30; 10k $35; 15k $40; Half Marathon $45 Course map: The course is super easy to follow. It will consist of counter clockwise loops around the beach path that will be marked. 5k (1 loop), 10k (2 loops), 15k (3 loops) with an aid station at every loop: gmap-pedometer.com/?r=62… Half marathon is 3 x 4.36 mile loops with aid station at every loop: gmap-pedometer.com/?r=62… Aid stations have water cups, water bottles, Gatorade cups, Gu gels. Other snacks on the tables may include bananas, granola/snack bars. Participants are not allowed to run with dogs. Running/walking with a stroller is allowed. 3:15 time limit for the half marathon. If more time is needed, please email us at abetterworldrunning@yaho… for early start. This is a small informal event with about 100-150 participants. Everyone will get a finishers medal as well as a goodie bag. We will have bananas, snacks, water, etc. To keep costs low we do not offer any special awards or t-shirts.
